Long term opioid use can contribute to both physical disease and mental disorders in addition to opioid use disorder. We are currently in the middle of an epidemic that threatens the safety of our citizens on a daily basis. This program was designed as one tool to impact that epidemic.
This online program is intended for prescribers licensed in the State of Georgia who maintain an active DEA certificate and prescribe controlled substances, except those holding a residency training permit.
This knowledge-based activity has been approved for 3 hours of continuing education credit for pharmacists.
