    Scholarships Overview

The College of Pharmacy offers financial aid, made possible through the generosity of donations from alumni and friends, to students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.  Scholarships vary in amount and are awarded each academic year to students who meet or exceed eligibility criteria.  Selections are made through an online scholarship application and review by an appointed Scholarships and Awards committee.

The scholarships for incoming first-year students are awarded through a special process.  Contact Dr. Duc Do, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, for more information at 706-542-7287.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, students must first complete an application through an online application system.  In the spring term, students receive an email from the Office of the Dean which includes a link to the application in addition to details regarding completing the scholarship submission process.  To learn more about the scholarships offered, follow the navigation links in the right column on this page.

To be considered for need-based scholarships and for need eligibility to be determined, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.gov by the priority deadline.

For questions regarding the scholarship application process, please contact Gloria Strait in the Dean’s Office in the College of Pharmacy at gstrait@uga.edu or 706-542-8166.
