Adetoun (Rita) Thompson Annual Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship is awarded to a pharmacy student of Afro-American heritage, with a GPA of 2.75 or better, and who has a financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.

David and Jane Chu Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student(s) in the College of Pharmacy who has a financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid; a good vision of pharmacy; an attained and maintained 3.0 GPA; and completed their first year and are eligible for scholarship(s) in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study.

CVS Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student in good academic standing and interested in a career in community pharmacy practice and who intern/volunteer their time with an organization that supports underserved populations. Preference is given to students who are bilingual. Students are selected regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.

College of Pharmacy Faculty Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates academic achievement, professional integrity and leadership qualities.

Georgia Pharmacy Foundation – Carlton Henderson Scholarship

One student from each of the three Georgia pharmacy schools is selected annually to receive $1,000 for the Carlton Henderson Scholarship. The scholarship recipients are exemplary students who are selected by a faculty committee at each of the schools of pharmacy. Recipient must maintain a GPA greater than 3.0 and be a member of GPhA.

Georgia Pharmacy Foundation – Harold B. Hodgson, Jr., R.Ph., Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship is named for Harold B. Hodgson, Jr. who was a long-time leader in Georgia pharmacy and exemplified certain qualities such as honesty, integrity, caring and a passion for working to improve the profession of pharmacy and the quality of life of his patients. His accomplishments are legendary and his impact on pharmacy in Georgia is immeasurable. The scholarship will be awarded to a student pharmacist who exhibits strong leadership qualities and a desire to be actively involved in the pharmacy profession. In order to qualify, a recipient must demonstrate a willingness to follow the example set by Harold B. Hodgson, Jr., be a member of GPhA and maintain a GPA greater than 3.0.

Georgia Pharmacy Foundation – Neil L. Pruitt, Sr., Entrepreneurial Scholarship

This scholarship is unrestricted and will be given annually to one student at each of the three Georgia pharmacy schools. Each recipient will receive $1,000. The students will be selected by a faculty committee at each of the schools of pharmacy. The recipients are exemplary students who have demonstrated entrepreneurial abilities. Recipient must maintain a GPA greater than 3.0 and be a member of GPhA.

Georgia Pharmacy Foundation – Regina Baird Scholarship

Annually, two students from each of the three Georgia pharmacy schools are awarded $1,000 each. These are exemplary students who have been chosen by a faculty committee at each of the schools of pharmacy. Recipients must maintain a GPA greater than 3.0 and be a member of GPhA.

Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists

This scholarship is awarded to a student in the College of Pharmacy who is a member of GSHP, a Georgia resident, academic achievement, leadership potential and has a financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Global Clinical Supplies Group

This scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid and has an interest in the pharmaceutical industry. Preference is given to qualified applicants who express interest in a career in clinical supplies.

Heidi Flye Kroger Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship is awarded to a student who is a current Kroger employee.

National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation Pharmacy Partners Scholarship

This scholarships is awarded to a student who has completed at least one professional year of pharmacy school, experienced in community pharmacy, as well as a desire to pursue a career in community pharmacy; strong oral and written communication skills, excel at patient counseling and must be in good academic standing.

Oh Pharmacy of Johns Creek Scholarship

The recipient of the OH Pharmacy of Johns Creek Scholarship must be an international student entering his or her 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of the professional pharmacy program who has financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid.

Publix Super Markets Charities Scholarship

The Publix Super Markets Charities, Inc. was established in 1966 by George W. Jenkins, Founder of Publix. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate an interest in a career in a community pharmacy practice.

R. C. Wilson Pharmaceutical Association

The purpose of this scholarship is to support two working pharmacy students from Georgia’s 10th Congressional District located in the northeastern part of the state including Baldwin, Barrow, Butts, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Taliaferro, Walton, Warren, Washington and Wilkes counties. Also includes portions of Clarke, Columbia, Gwinnett, Henry and Newton counties.

Robert E. Long Kroger Memorial Scholarship

This memorial scholarship is awarded to a student who is a current Kroger employee.

The Hunter Family Scholarship

This scholarship is for a pharmacy student who has served in either the Air Force, Marines, Navy or Army. They must have left the Armed Forces in good standing (i.e., retired, honorable discharge, etc.)

Walgreens Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Award

This scholarship is awarded to a single student who embraces diversity and promotes diversity and inclusion initiatives on campus.

Walgreens Diversity Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to one or more student(s) of an underrepresented minority group with an interest in community pharmacy.

Walmart Pharmacy Scholarship

This scholarship is given to a pharmacy student with high scholastic standing in his/her last three years of school.  A financial need, to help the student with tuition, books, etc. A student that has shown the ability to lead others. A student that shows a desire to enter community practice upon graduation and has current/previous experience in community practice. Preference is given to Walmart interns or students that completed their IPPE Rotation at Walmart or Sam’s Club. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
