Sandeep Artham, PharmD, a 3rd-year graduate student in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics, received first prize for Graduate Student Research at the VA Research Day in Augusta. The title of his poster presentation was “Pulmonary Endothelial Alt1-FoxO-MMP3 Signaling is a Novel Diagnostic and Therapeutic Target for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome: Experimental and Clinical Evidence.” Other pharmacy graduate students participating were: Daniel Anderson, Harika Sabbineni, Oge Amaka, Mohammed Sayed and Abdulrahman Alwhaibi.
