Dr. Michelle Borg Worst ’16, 2022 Outstanding New Alumna

Michelle Worst ’16

As an incoming PharmD student at the UGA College of Pharmacy, Michelle Worst was unique because of her rich level of experience early in her career. Among her many scholastic accomplishments, Worst was the founder of Student Oncological Advocates in Pharmacy (SOAP), which continues to engage with the community and stimulate interest in hematology/oncology. Worst, who serves as director of Clinical Strategy Hematology/Oncology at Medscape, has been recognized as a leader in her specialty, invited to speak at national and regional educational meetings, and published papers in JAMA Dermatology, the British Journal of Hematology, the Journal of Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy, and Clinical Lung Cancer. Her accomplishments in the field and passion and commitment for oncology pharmacy led to her receiving the award.
