Fourth-year PharmD student Justin Petway has been selected for the Veteran’s Affairs Health Professional Scholarship Program for Pharmacy. This is the first year PharmD students have been included in this program, and only 10% of the applicants were accepted.

Said Justin, “Years ago, I made it a personal and professional goal to continue serving my fellow veterans, and now I have the incredible opportunity to do so.”

Justin, who currently is on his APPE rotations in Augusta, served in the Army as a Sergeant E5 (active duty). Following graduation and residency, Justin will work with the VA.
