The College of Pharmacy is pleased to announce that Lee Snelling, who has served as our Director of Development since March 2016, has been promoted to Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the College of Pharmacy, effective October 1.
In his role, Lee will be responsible for oversight of all operations and personnel in the Office of External Affairs. During his three-and-a-half years at the college, Lee has made great strides in cultivating alumni and donor relations for our College, and he has played an integral role in our successful $25 million+ participation in the nearly-completed Commit to Georgia Campaign.
A native of Ipswich, England, Lee received his Bachelor of Science in History and his Master in Public Administration, both from Georgia College in Milledgeville. Remaining at Georgia College for the start of his career, Lee served in various roles, including Assistant Director of Admissions, Senior Development Officer, and Adjunct Professor in Interdisciplinary Studies. Prior to joining the College of Pharmacy, he served as the Director of Development at the UGA Eugene P. Odum School of Ecology for six years. Outside of work, Lee mentors local K-12 students, serves at his church, volunteer coaches and referees soccer, and most importantly, spends time with his wife, Holly, and their two sons, Ethan and Isaac.
We are proud of Lee’s accomplishments and look forward to the future of Development and Alumni Relations at the College of Pharmacy. Please wish Lee well in his new role.
