Matching Funds Double Student Support

In an effort to lower the graduate level cost of education, the UGA Foundation Board of Trustees unanimously approved a 1:1 match for new, need-based scholarship endowments for the College of Pharmacy this past year.

The College was given $250,000 to use for matching funds, which are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. To date, the College has matched $210,000 for scholarships for students in need. The original proposal, submitted by CoP’s Development and Alumni Relations team late summer 2022, provided a clear picture of how funds will assist in alleviating the burden of financial constraints for PharmD students.
