Meet Deborah Martinez, Student Affairs Professional

Deborah Martinez is the new Student Affairs Professional in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy. Prior to her appointment, she was a recruiter for UGA’s Graduate School. A native of Clinton, Iowa, she received her B.S. at Loras College and Master’s degree from Iowa State University. She worked at Iowa State University as an Assistant to the Director of Ph.D. Programs in Business and Technology and as the Assistant Director of Graduate Marketing and Alumni Relations, both in the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business.

In her position with the College of Pharmacy, she will be responsible for managing recruitment, applications and screening of prospective graduate students in the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, and assuring all graduate student program deadlines are met.
