PharmDawg-Owned Businesses Recognized at Bulldog 100 Celebration
Eight businesses led by UGA College of Pharmacy graduates were honored at the 2025 Bulldog 100 Celebration recently in Athens. This prestigious list recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UGA alumni. This year’s PharmDawg honorees included:

- #28 SynerGrx – Naveed Tharwani ’11.
- #29 King’s Hometown Pharmacy – John Hyer ’12 & Dorris Hyer ’12
- #47 Clark Drug Company – Starr Clark ’87, Ben Ross ’08, Mary Nagel ‘16
- #55 Golden Isles Pharmacy – Matthew Donato ‘14
- #56 Coastal Drug Company – Ben Ross, Mary Nagel
- #78 Ross Drug – Ben Ross
Additionally, Ben Ross received the Michael J. Bryan Award, which recognizes a returning Bulldog 100 honoree who exemplifies entrepreneurial spirit and sustained business growth. Established in memory of Michael Bryan (BBA ’89), this award honors alumni making a lasting impact through their ventures.

Each year, Bulldog 100 applicants are evaluated based on their business’ compounded annual growth rate over a three-year period. The Atlanta office of Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors verifies the data submitted by each company.
