PharmDawgs celebrate MLK Day with community service

Several PharmDawgs celebrated MLK Day this past Monday by participating in community service projects. Check out PharmDawgs in action! Dr. Lindsey Welch, CoP APPE director, and her daughter, Landry, volunteered at the Northeast Georgia Food Bank making PBJ sandwiches for area homeless citizens (not pictured but also making sandwiches are Davis, her son, and her Dad). Arica Barfield, administrative associate at the extended campus in Albany, participated in the MLK Blood Drive at the Greater Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Dr. Matthew Perri, clinical professor, is a volunteer coach for the Oconee County High School Wrestling Team. His squad sponsored a beginner’s tournament during the MLK holiday for students in grades K-8th grade. Thanks for serving others, PharmDawgs!
