Dr. Pruitt joins the Student Affairs Office on August 10, where he will facilitate comprehensive recruitment efforts for both internal and external constituencies as well as feeder institutions to strengthen our PharmD, graduate and undergraduate applicant pools. Dr. Pruitt earned a B.S. in Microbiology/Pre-Pharmacy and M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma as well as an Ed.D. in Adult & Higher Education from the University of Memphis. He started his career in the Office of Admissions at Oklahoma University and was promoted rapidly from the Campus Visit Experience & Scholarship Coordinator to a Lead Recruiter overseeing their comprehensive approach to rural student matriculation. He moved to Atlanta in 2015, where he directed the Student Engagement & Leadership Office in Student Affairs at Oglethorpe University. Most recently, Dr. Pruitt served as the Subject Matter Expert for Higher Education Research at Gallup helping many universities achieve strategic enrollment goals.
