Opportunity: Inpatient night-shift pharmacist at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska
Description: The Alaska Native Medical Center is a nonprofit health care organization in Anchorage, Alaska, providing medical services to more than 173,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people.  The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium and Southcentral Foundation jointly own and manage the Alaska Native Medical Center under the terms of Public Law 105-83.  The center includes a 173-bed hospital, as well as a full range of medical specialties, primary care services, and labs. ANMC is both an Adult and Pediatric Level II Trauma Center, providing the highest level of trauma care in Alaska. The vast array of hospital and pharmacy services are staffed by more than 50 pharmacists, 600 nurses and 250 physicians. Annually, ANMC sees approximately 9,700 inpatient admissions, 350,000 outpatient visits, 57,000 emergency department visits and 17,000 surgical procedures.  Pharmacy services afterhours include remote order verification and consultation for ANMC as well as 4 critical access hospitals and one local detox facility.
