Ph.D. Student
Hongyi Zou (he/him) is a first-year PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Health Services, Outcomes, and Policy (PHSOP) program at the University of Georgia. He completed his Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Pittsburgh, where he developed a strong foundation in pharmacoepidemiology and outcomes research. His current academic interests lie at the intersection of aging, neurodegenerative disorders, and chronic disease management. In particular, he is interested in exploring how Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) affect older adults, and how health services research can inform treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes. Hongyi aims to apply real-world data and advanced analytic methods to address these challenges. Outside of academics, he enjoys fitness training, hiking, and discovering new coffee brews.
