The Mental Health symposium will be held February 4-5, 2020 at the Holiday Inn in Athens, Georgia.  This interprofessional education symposium will bring together pharmacists, physicians, psychologists and social workers. It explores current concepts in the treatment of mental health disorders as well as advances in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of mental health and other associated chronic diseases. Session topics include: neurobiology of trauma, CBD, pediatric neurologic co-morbidities, new drug update, technology update, USP 800, mindfulness and neuroscience, and managing comorbid diseases in adult psychiatry.  For more information, contact Trina von Waldner at tvonwald@uga.edu.
