Shifa Taj is a first-year PhD student in the Pharmaceutical Health Services Outcomes and Policy (PHSOP) Program at the University of Georgia. Her work focuses on diabetes and obesity, emphasizing medication safety, treatment patterns, and outcomes that inform payer and policy decisions. Methodologically, she conducts systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses. She aims to generate research that improves health-related quality of life. Before UGA, she worked in the Health Outcomes team at Eli Lilly, contributing evidence synthesis for diabetes, obesity, and immunology portfolios. She is interested in translating evidence into practice.
