In honor of the 60th anniversary of desegregation at the University of Georgia in 2021, the College of Pharmacy is honored to spotlight 60 alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends who have advocated for a more equitable and inclusive society. The “60 at 60” honors CoP community members who have committed their personal and professional endeavors to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all.
Culminating 60 at 60 was the inaugural William Robie III Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Lecture & Award on February 25, 2021. Robie, a 1970 alumnus, was the first African-American graduate of the College. He shared his experience in his address: “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Forefront of the College of Pharmacy’s Values and Mission: My Reflections.” The full program can be viewed below.
