More About

Kate O’Reilly joined the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 2023 as the senior director of advancement. In this role, she oversees fundraising efforts and alumni engagement initiatives, working to expand resources and support for the College’s mission. 

Before coming to the College of Pharmacy, O’Reilly’s affiliation was with the School of Law, where she worked in a variety of capacities including Director of Development, Major Gifts Office and Director of Alumni Relations. She began her UGA fundraising career as the Director of Development at UGA’s College of Public Health. She also has earlier work experiences in regional leadership roles with the American Heart Association and as an educator in Clarke County. 

O’Reilly received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Presbyterian College in South Carolina and later her Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from UGA.  She and her husband, Steven, live in Oconee County with their two sons, Bart and George.
