Bhuiya’s academic home is the Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy department, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. study in Pharmaceutical Health Services, Outcomes and Policy. He previously held a position as a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacy at Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining there, he also served as a faculty in the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Bhuiya earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

He has also honed his skills in Pharmacoepidemiology, Medication Adherence,  Pharmaceutical Market Management, Product Development, and Market Analysis whilst working at Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Bangladesh – a sister concern of Roche Pharmaceuticals, Basel, Switzerland.

His professional goal is to contribute to the health sector through teaching and research activities. Bhuiya’s current research emphasizes the management of chronic and critical diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases.

Bhuiya describes himself as an open, fun-loving guy, who is aiming to lead a balanced and fulfilling life, prioritizing simplicity and meaningful connections with loved ones. He finds joy in singing, analyzing melodies, and reading novels, which serve as a source of inspiration and relaxation and help polish his imaginary world.
