Samruddhi Nandkumar is a first year PhD student at the Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy in the Pharmaceutical Health Services, Outcomes, and Policy (PHSOP) program. Previously, she has worked as a Junior Research Associate at a Health Economics and Outcomes Research consulting firm in India and was routinely involved in conducting Real World Evidence studies and systematic reviews. She has completed her master’s with a pharmaceutics specialization from BITS Pilani, India wherein she was involved in fabrication and characterization of microneedle based transdermal drug delivery system to address chronic conditions such as diabetes and thyroid disorders. Leveraging her formulation sciences background, she is particularly interested in understanding the real-world outcomes of novel drug delivery systems for addressing viral infections, immunologic and immuno-dermatological conditions in women.
