Persia Nelson, Clinical Instructor

- How did you become interested in your chosen field/profession? What are your areas of interest and expertise?
- My area of interest is ambulatory care. I became interested in this field because pharmacists were/are the main source of accessible healthcare in the rural town that I grew up in. I am interested in ambulatory care because this area will equip me with the knowledge and skills needed to assist patients, and other healthcare providers, in managing their chronic disease states.
