How do I Become a Preceptor?

I appreciate your interest in becoming a UGA College of Pharmacy preceptor! Our preceptors are essential to providing our students the IPPE and APPE curriculum.

Preceptor Application

1. Please review our Preceptor and Site Criteria.

2. Complete our Preceptor Application Form and return it to Dr. Lindsey Welch either by email (LHWelch@uga.edu) or fax (706-542-6022).

3. Once we receive your form, you will receive an email from the Division of Experience Programs with information about starting the affiliation agreement process (new sites) and scheduling a site visit.

4. Once approved, preceptors will be required to complete required training modules prior to having students.
