The College of Pharmacy will host its 25th annual Albert W. Jowdy Memorial Golf Classic on April 21, 2017 at the UGA Golf Course.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Albert W. Jowdy Scholarship Fund to assist pharmacy students.

An early-bird discounted price of $135 per person is available to those who register by April 12. Alumni under the age of 30 can also register for a discounted price of $130. Registration after April 12 will be $150 per person. Cost includes greens fees and golf cart. Participants will also receive a College of Pharmacy gift, boxed meal, team photo, and access to the awards reception.

The registration area will open at 8 a.m. A putting contest will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will be held at 2:30 p.m.

Pro Shop gift certificates will be awarded to the first and second place teams. Prizes will also be given for the longest drive and closest to the pin on par 3’s. Hole-in-one prizes include a $10,000 cash prize, a set of Nike irons, a Kindle Fire and a $500 Visa gift card.

Corporate and individual sponsors will receive recognition for giving at the Platinum Level ($1,000, includes foursome), Gold Level ($500) and Silver Level ($250), however, other amounts are accepted and appreciated.
