Congratulations to Dr. Lindsey Welch ’08, UGA College of Pharmacy director of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences, who was appointed to a three-year term on the Georgia Pharmacy Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation serves practicing pharmacists, technicians and student pharmacists through professional educational programs and connects pharmacists to the general public through public information and awareness campaigns. Foundation-funded research supports advocacy efforts that keep legislators, media and other policy makers informed about how pharmacists can help improve health outcomes in Georgia. In addition, student pharmacists from all Georgia schools and colleges benefit from Foundation-supported scholarships.
