Thank you, PharmDawgs! You answered the call on Dawg Day of Giving and gave 165 gifts in support of Pharmacy students! Here are some highlights from the day:
- We more than doubled our original goal of 80 gifts and unlocked $1,500 for the Pharmacy Postgraduate Career Support Fund, generously donated by Starr Clark (BS Pharm ’87), 2024 Bulldog 100 honoree and owner of Clark Drug Company. We were the first school/college at UGA to reach our goal—way to go PharmDawgs!
- 100% of the Pharmacy Alumni Board donated, unlocking an extra $2,500 for the Pharmacy Enhancement Fund!
- Walgreens pledged $5,000 to the College of Pharmacy Senior Legacy Discretionary Fund in honor of the Class of 2024. Thanks to their generosity, members of the 2024 class will have their name listed on the the 2024 Senior Legacy plaque located in the Pharmacy building.
- 75+ students stopped by our table on campus to write personal thank you cards to donors to thank them for their support on Dawg Day of Giving!
