Pharmacy Alumna & Bulldog 100 Honoree Inspires Others to Give Back on Dawg Day of Giving

Today is Dawg Day of Giving and you can make a difference by supporting the College of Pharmacy!

Did you know that, this year alone, UGA Pharmacy students have requested nearly $20,000 in funding to cover expenses like grad school applications and NAPLEX or MPJE exam fees? This Dawg Day of Giving, you can help ease the financial challenges faced by many of our graduates as they plan for their futures with a gift to the College of Pharmacy Postgraduate Career Support Fund.

Pharmacy alumna Starr Clark (BS Pharm ‘87), 2024 Bulldog 100 honoree and owner of Clark Drug Company, understands the importance of supporting students in their postgraduate endeavors—so much so that she has pledged to donate $1,500 to the Pharmacy Postgraduate Career Support Fund if the College of Pharmacy receives at least 80 gifts on Dawg Day of Giving.

By supporting the Pharmacy Postgraduate Career Support Fund, Starr hopes to alleviate some of the financial burdens students face on the path to their careers and empower future pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists to succeed.

Join Starr and others in investing in the future of pharmacy by giving today. When we all come together to support a common cause, the impact is monumental so your gift—big or small—makes a difference.
